KDDI-backed KKCompany to jumpstart AI services in Japan, Southeast Asia

TAIPEI — KKCompany Technologies, the company behind Taiwan’s largest music streaming platform, plans to take its AI-powered data analysis technology to Japan and Southeast Asia in hopes of securing high levels of growth.

Backed by Japan telecom giant KDDI, KKCompany is known for its flagship music streaming service KKBOX, which has over 12 million registered users, including 2 million paying subscribers, mainly in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.
