by admin

HANOI — Japanese bearing maker MinebeaMitsumi is building a plant in Cambodia that will operate using 100% renewable energy, joining Lego Group and other international businesses setting up more sustainable production hubs in Southeast Asia.

The plant under construction in Pursat province will produce precision components for automobiles and home appliances using only renewable power from day one. The company has secured a roughly 500,000-square-meter plot several kilometers away for a solar farm to power the plant.
